Emotional Energy

The contemporary art exhibition "Emotional Energy" by artist Rahim El, organized by the Museum of Calella in the exhibition hall of the Old Town Hall of Calella (Ajuntament Vell de Calella), which belongs to the museum and serves as their official venue, brings together works from various series, sculptural creations, and a sound-accompanied video sequence. Working at the intersection of abstractionism, expressionism, and figurativism, Rahim El masterfully combines light, color, and texture, where every brushstroke captures the author's emotional state at the moment of creation and bridges their past and present.

A special place in the exhibition is held by sculptures that were exhibited as painting totems and helped every viewer create their own artwork: guests could take photographs however they liked, thereby becoming co-participants in the process, creating a piece of the shared creation, and creating together.

The artist's main goal is not to provide ready-made answers, but to immerse the viewer in a meditative state, awaken deep emotions, and spark internal reflection. "All of us and everything around us is energy for which words have no meaning; what matters are the emotions and the state we find ourselves in and experience," notes Rahim El. This exhibition opens up a unique opportunity to expand the limits of perception, explore hidden facets of the inner world, and experience the pure energy of art.
